From being seen on VH1’s America’s Next Top Model Season 23 to styling for Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 alongside Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist Devon Milan, identical twins and Philadelphia rap duo Fre$h $ide Twins are the bridge between fashion and music. F$T entered the rap community by storm with the release of their first commercial single “Girls” produced by Bugs Ronin in 2017. In 2018, they opened for acts such as Asian Doll, Bali Baby, Jay Critch and more. In addition to recording their first EP, Fre$h $ide Twins have also styled Philly counterparts Reco Havoc, as well as Bri Steeves for her commercial campaign with Apple Music. Their first commercial EP produced solely by Working on Dying is scheduled for release in 2019.

Describe the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome as an artist?

The biggest obstacle having to overcome as an artist would be poverty.

How have you developed your career?

We have developed our career by networking and constantly producing content.

How do you navigate the music industry?

We navigate through music industry like high school. Staying ready for those pop up quizzes.

What’s a typical day like for you artistically?

A typical day for us artistically would be a few hours of songwriting. Maybe a photo shoot before heading to the studio.

When do your ideas come to you?

Our ideas come to us as soon as we walk out the door. We tend to use our surroundings as inspiration.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Our biggest musical influences would be Jay-z, Meek Mill, Coach K, D-block, Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Dmx, Pnb Rock.

What’s your idea of success as an artist?

Our idea of success as artists is for our art to impact the world.
